Abstract: A vehicle rim monitoring and maintenance device, comprises of a platform 101 operatively linked with microcontroller, an input means enabling user commands for initiation of monitoring and maintenance of vehicle rim, a pair of articulated arms 104 to securely grasp tyre rim for positioning and stabilization, an articulated link 105 with T- shaped bar 106 coupled with power screw arrangement 107 to remove or fit tyre relative to rim, a heat gun 118 via an articulated pole 108 to apply controlled heat for loosening stuck tyres, an articulated gripper 109 to place removed tyres in a waste tray 110 and to handle new tyres, an imaging unit 111 synchronized with a dust sensor to detect contaminants and activate a motorized brush 112 for cleaning, a corrosion sensor with a fluid dispensing nozzle 113 for rust removal, and eddy current sensors to detect cracks and notify acceptance or rejection of rim.
