Abstract: Abstract Disclosed is a vehicle safety escalation system for driver-state and seat-belt compliance monitoring. The system includes a vehicle-mountable support assembly, an imaging module directed toward a driver region, a seat-belt verification module associated with a latch region and a belt path region, a processing unit, an alert unit, a location module, and a communication module. The processing unit processes driver-state information from the imaging module and seat-belt genuineness information from the seat-belt verification module to determine a risk condition. The alert unit issues warnings based on the risk condition. When an escalation condition is determined, the communication module transmits a location-linked SOS message using information supplied by the location module. The system enables coordinated evaluation of driver fatigue and seat-belt genuineness for proactive vehicle safety response.
