MUMBAI, India, June 22 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202541121850 A) filed by Nighatech Global Private Limited on December 04, 2025, for Vehicle Safety System With Integrated Impact, Fire, And Glass-Break Detection, Smart Number Plate And Bumper Attachments With Auto-Recharge Capability, And Related Methods.
Inventor includes Manthi Pavan Vijay Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on June 12, 2026, under issue no. 24/2026.
Abstract: A vehicle safety system comprises sensor-embedded side safety bumpers or attachments with integrated piezoelectric auto-recharge mechanisms for continuous operation, configured to detect impacts and fire conditions exceeding 120°C for at least 2 seconds. An automated glass-breaking subsystem employs stored-spring actuators with solenoid-triggered hammers to fracture vehicle windows upon verified accident and fire detection. Conductive-wire glass-break detection confirms window fracture via electrical discontinuity in hairline wires (0.1-1.0 mm diameter) affixed to glass surfaces. A smart vehicle number plate with embedded accelerometers ( 0.7 g threshold) and Bluetooth Low Energy communication detects accidents and transmits vehicle identification data. A central control unit coordinates event detection, arms glass-breaking actuators post-accident, actuates upon fire confirmation with vehicle speed verification ( 5 km/h), and triggers a data transmission subsystem to send GNSS location, event status, and glass-break confirmation to multiple emergency recipients. A GNSS-enabled live tracking platform provides real-time vehicle status and journey history to authorized responders. FIG. 1
