Abstract: The present invention relates to an artificial intelligence-based dynamic road safety intelligence system for real-time safe speed recommendation, risk prediction and hazard management. The system comprises a Data Acquisition Module, Hardware Infrastructure Module, Unified Data Management Module, Risk Prediction Engine, Speed Alignment Prediction Module, Blackspot Detection Module, Dynamic Safe Speed Recommendation Module, Explainable Artificial Intelligence Module, GIS Visualization Module, Hazard Management Module, Dashboard and Reporting Module and User Management Module. Multi-source transportation information comprising traffic data, crash records, weather information and road infrastructure data is analysed using machine learning models to predict road risk, identify hazardous road segments and dynamically recommend safe travel speeds. Explainable artificial intelligence provides transparent interpretation of prediction results, while GIS visualization and interactive dashboards facilitate continuous monitoring and decision support. The disclosed system enables intelligent road safety management, dynamic speed optimization, hazard detection, operational reporting and evidence-based transportation planning through an integrated artificial intelligence framework.
