Abstract: A show effects system includes a beverage filler system, a special effects system and a control system. The beverage filler system includes a base that supports a vessel and a beverage controller used to control a flow of a beverage into the vessel. The special effects system includes one or more displays used to display an image and a semi-reflective mirror including a first side and a second side and positioned between the one or more displays and the vessel. Further, the semi-reflective mirror permits viewing of the display, transmitted through the first side, at the second side and viewing of a reflection of an environment of the vessel at the second side. The control system includes a processor that receives a signal indicative of a presence of the vessel on the base and activates at least the special effects system or the beverage filler system based on the signal.
