The method comprises: querying the capability of a sink device; and when the sink device has the dynamic frame rate refreshing capability, transmitting a first vertical blanking packet (VBP) and first video data to the sink device, wherein a dynamic frame rate refreshing field included in the first VBP is a first value, and the first value is used for instructing to start a dynamic frame rate refreshing mode for the first video data.
