The method comprises: querying the capability of a sink device; and when the sink device has an automatic low-delay capability, transmitting a first vertical blanking packet (VBP) and first video data to the sink device, an automatic low-delay field comprised in the first VBP being a first value, and the first value being used for instructing to enable an automatic low- delay mode for the first video data.
