The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: [0063] The present invention provides a polyolefin based resin composition derived from post consumer metallized multilayer packaging and formulated without the use of virgin polyethylene or virgin polypropylene. The composition includes a multi functional additive package comprising primary and secondary antioxidants, a melt strength modifier, a hindered amine light stabilizer, an odour control agent, and at least one compatibilizer based on functionalized polyolefins. In preferred embodiments, the compatibilizer is incorporated in an amount ranging from 3 to 8 parts per hundred resins, thereby promoting improved interfacial adhesion within the recycled polyolefin matrix and contributing to enhanced mechanical integrity and processing stability. The resulting composition exhibits performance characteristics suitable for both extrusion blow molding and blown film extrusion, thereby enabling high value utilization of recycled metallized multilayer plastic waste.
