Abstract: ABSTRACT VISION-BASED ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHT GLARE DETECTION AND CONTROL SYSTEM The present disclosure provides a system for vision- based headlight glare detection and adaptive control. The system comprises a camera (102) configured to capture video frames of a driving environment. The system further comprises a processing unit (104) configured to detect vehicles within the captured video frames, extract headlight regions of interest for each detected vehicle, compute a glare score for each detected vehicle based on a weighted combination of a plurality of parameters including brightness intensity, relative size, and estimated distance, prioritize the detected vehicles based on the computed glare scores, and generate a control signal based on the computed glare scores and proximity conditions. The system further comprises a matrix-based LED headlight assembly (106) comprising a plurality of individually controllable LED segments, wherein the matrix- based LED headlight assembly (106) is configured to selectively modulate illumination of individual LED segments based on the control signal.
