Abstract: A vision-enabled edge device for health monitoring of press packaging filling machines using nrf and xbee networks comprises an Arduino Tiny Machine Learning Kit, a camera module, nRF module, accelerometer, current sensor, temperature and pressure sensors, and a power supply, the ViEdTc Node offers the capability for data collection and analysis processing at the machines level which is capable of performing data analysis and real time monitoring of the machines and data transfer through wireless networks thus, adding more features to the system, the ViEdTRc Node, using a Jetson Nano Board, nRF module, XBee RF module, HMI display and power supply, assists in data aggregation, local processing of the data, and display of data at the site of the machine tool allowing the operator to quickly react when the machine health alert comes into active status.
