MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611056671 A) filed by National Institute Of Technology, Kurukshetra on May 04, 2026, for Voice-Based Method And System For Identifying Biochemical Deficiency.

Inventors include Kumar, Karan; and Sharma, R. K..

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method (400) for identifying biochemical deficiency by means of voice signal processing. The method includes receiving (402), by a receiver unit, a voice signal from a subject. Further, the method includes determining (404), by a determining module (206-A), vocal biomarkers from the voice signal in frequency domain. Furthermore, the method includes segregating (406), by a segregating module (206-B), vocal biomarkers based on biochemical frequency bands derived from known vibrational frequencies of one or more biomolecules. Moreover, the method includes correlating (408), by a correlating module (206-C), the segregated vocal biomarkers with reference biochemical frequencies associated with a plurality of biomolecules present in a human body. Further, the method includes identifying (410) by an identifying module (206-D), the biochemical deficiency based on the correlation when a deviation of at least one of the segregated vocal biomarkers from the corresponding reference biochemical frequencies exceeds a predefined threshold value.
