Abstract: Abstract A voice-controlled calculator is disclosed for voice-operated computational interfaces. The system receives spoken arithmetic commands, transcribed text, numeric tokens and operator words from a speaking user, a microphone, a speech recognition service and a computation module through an input interface. A conditioning portion prepares the received input by filtering, normalizing, parsing, segmenting or otherwise converting the input into a structured representation suited to the particular processing task. A decision portion then captures speech, converts the speech into text, identifies numbers and operation words, maps the operation to an arithmetic function and generates the result or a defined error response. The system generates calculation results, spoken responses, visual result displays and error messages for unclear or invalid commands through an output interface and stores a corresponding processing record. The arrangement links acquisition, conditioning, decision processing and output generation in one operative chain, because the parser converts a spoken command into a constrained arithmetic expression before the Python computation step is executed.
