Abstract: A waist-belt holding and wearing assistive device, comprising a frame 101 positioned on a surface, plurality of suction cups 201 for adhering to surface of a vertical support to secure frame 101 on vertical support, an imaging unit 102 to detect type of buckle of a waist belt, a robotic arm 104 for positioning the buckle in between multiple U-shaped clamp arranged on the frame 101 for grabbing the belt’s buckle, plurality of L-shaped rods 106 for hanging the belt on the frame 101, a motorized sliding unit 108 provide translation to the clippers 107, a microphone 109 to provide input specifications regarding a user-desired operation, a pair of robotic grippers 110 to grab the user-specified belt for inserting the belt through multiple loops of the user’s garment and a telescopically operated pin 111 for crafting a hole in the belt.
