Abstract: The present invention assists effective planning of an investigation/repair management plan for waterworks. The present invention is a water leakage investigation planning assistance system that is characterized by including: a water leakage occurrence level analysis unit that calculates water leakage occurrence levels that indicate the probability of water leakage at water pipes within a set area and presents the water leakage occurrence levels to an investigation planner; and an investigation priority level analysis unit that uses investigation priority items set by the investigation planner to calculate priority levels for investigation between the water pipes within the area. Provided is a water leakage investigation planning assistance method that involves making a computer perform: water leakage occurrence level analysis processing that calculates water leakage occurrence levels that indicate the probability of water leakage at water pipes within a set area and presents the water leakage occurrence levels to an investigation planner; and investigation priority level analysis processing that uses investigation priority items set by the investigation planner to calculate priority levels for investigation between the water pipes within the area.
