Abstract: ABSTRACT WATER RESISTANT DISPERSION, A PROCESS FOR ITS PREPARATION AND AN ADHESIVE COMPOSITION PREPARED THEREFROM The present disclosure relates to a water resistant dispersion. The water resistant polyvinyl acetate dispersion is a product of vinyl monomers, ethylene modified polyvinyl alcohol, buffer solution, a defoamer, initiators, stabilizers and water. The present disclosure further relates to a process for the preparation of the water resistant dispersion. The present disclosure furthermore relates to an adhesive composition comprising dispersion. The adhesive composition has water resistant property with ‘D3 durability’ in the range of 2 Mpa to 3 Mpa.
