Abstract: This wear state measurement device measures the wear state of an injection sleeve and a plunger tip in a die casting machine provided with a mold-holding part, the injection sleeve, the plunger tip, and an injection drive part that moves the plunger tip forward and rearward, wherein the wear state measurement device comprises an elastic wave measurement unit that measures an elastic wave propagating through the injection sleeve when the plunger tip moves, and a determination unit that determines the wear state of at least one of the injection sleeve or the plunger tip on the basis of an output signal from the elastic wave measurement unit.
