Abstract: ABSTRACT: Wearable Bidirectional Thermal Conduction Strap for Hands-Free Hot and Cold Therapy This invention describes a wearable bidirectional thermal conduction strap for localized thermotherapy is disclosed. The strap is configured to selectively deliver heat therapy or cold therapy to a targeted body region through a flexible, body-conforming structure adapted to receive a preconditioned thermal pack. The strap maintains the pack in secure thermal contact with the treatment site while permitting hands-free mobility of the user. The structure is formed to promote substantially uniform temperature transfer across the treatment region while limiting undesirable heat exchange with the external environment, thereby prolonging therapeutic effectiveness and improving wearer comfort. The strap is adjustable for secure placement on different anatomical regions and is provided in multiple size configurations for distal, intermediate, and larger muscle groups. The device is reusable, portable, and suitable for home, sports, rehabilitation, travel, and clinical settings. The invention improves convenience, compliance, anatomical fit, and sustained localized hot or cold therapy without dependence on powered electronic temperature-control systems.
