Abstract: The present invention invention relates to a wearable bioelectrical impedance patch for non-invasive diagnosis and continuous monitoring of thrombus formation. The patch comprises a flexible multilayer structure including a protective biocompatible outer layer, an electronic circuit layer, a tetrapolar electrode sensing layer, a biocompatible adhesive layer, and a skin contact interface layer. Two electrodes inject a low-amplitude alternating current into tissue over a targeted vascular region, while two sensing electrodes measure a corresponding voltage response. An onboard processing unit calculates bioelectrical impedance using the measured voltage and applied current, filters artifacts caused by motion and skin resistance variation, compares impedance values with calibrated baseline and threshold values, and detects anomaly patterns associated with clot formation. A wireless communication module transmits impedance trends and thrombus-risk alerts to an external device or monitoring system. The invention provides portable, real- time, cost-effective, non-invasive, and continuous vascular monitoring for hospital, home care, telemedicine, and high-risk patient applications.
