Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable device designed for automated emergency detection and response, belonging to the field of personal safety and health monitoring technology. The device comprises a heart rate sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and blood oxygen saturation (SpO2) monitor, all interfaced with a microcontroller to continuously monitor the user's physiological and movement data. The heart rate sensor detects sudden changes indicative of stress or panic, while the accelerometer and gyroscope measure linear acceleration and angular velocity to identify falls or unusual movements. The SpO2 monitor assesses blood oxygen levels, contributing to the overall health status evaluation. Upon detecting an emergency based on predefined thresholds, the microcontroller activates a communication module to send notifications via HTTP POST requests to pre-selected contacts. Additionally, an integrated audible and visual alarm system alerts the wearer and nearby individuals of potential danger.
