MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611108975 A) filed by Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University on September 10, 2026, for Wearable Device For Muscle Growth And Recovery Management.

Inventors include Dr. Priyanka Rishi; Simran Sethi; and Reetuja.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: A wearable device for muscle growth and recovery management, comprising a wearable member 101, a sensing unit 106 to continuously monitor multimodal muscle performance parameters, an exercise specific muscle activation verification unit fetches data from the sensing unit 106 to compare intended muscle activation with detected recruitment during exercise operations, a haptic vibration unit 107 delivering adjustment signals to ensure accurate exercise performance and muscle growth, a compression optimization arrangement 203 to vary compression intensity according to exercise intensity, on detection of improper recruitment by the verification unit, an Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI) module linked with the control unit, fetches data from sensing unit 106 to analyse muscle performance parameter, further the XAI transparently identifies factors contributing to hypertrophy efficiency, injury risk, recovery readiness, and muscle symmetry, and displays explanatory outputs on the display unit 105 and on a user computing unit for workout optimization and recovery guidance.
