Abstract: ABSTRACT Disclosed in a wearable device for detecting high voltage levels without physically contacting or coming into close proximity of the voltage source and providing alerts when the said voltage exceeds safety thresholds, said device comprising: a display unit with an interface configured to display time and time zone, date, device status and voltage and EMF readings, one or more high voltage detection sensors for detecting the presence of high voltages using non-contact EMF sensing, a plurality of alerting means, wherein the said alerting means comprises one or more of audio, visual or vibrating means, a power source, a processor, memory and storage element wherein the processor processes the output of high voltage sensors to display the voltage and EMF readings and, activates the alerting means upon detection of high voltage levels.
