Abstract: A wearable neuromodulation system (100) for suppressing perceived pain in a user is disclosed. The system comprises a flexible wearable substrate module (110) configured to be positioned on a body region proximate to a pain site. A sensing module (120) integrated with the substrate module (110) comprises physiological sensor nodes configured to generate biosignal data corresponding to at least one of skin conductance, cardiovascular variability, and muscle activity. A processing module (130) in electrical communication with the sensing module (120) analyses the biosignal data to determine a pain-related physiological index indicative of a pain state of the user. A multimodal stimulation module (140) in electrical communication with the processing module (130) comprises haptic actuators, at least one thermal actuator, and at least one auditory or bone-conduction transducer. The processing module (130) activates at least one actuator based on the physiological index to deliver synchronized multimodal stimulation for suppressing perceived pain.
