Abstract: The present invention describes a wearable smart sensor system designed for 5 automated estrus detection in dairy cows. The system comprises a secure collar strap (1) holding a sensor housing (2) mounted directly on the neck of the animal. An integrated activity sensor (3) and a temperature sensor (4) monitor critical behavioral and physiological changes continuously. A central microcontroller (5) processes the recorded metrics while a wireless transmitter (6) sends the structured data to a remote 10 processing server (9). The remote processing server (9) utilizes a sophisticated machine learning algorithm to predict the estrus state accurately. A connected smartphone device (10) receives direct automated notifications alerting the dairy farmer of the detected estrus event. An external solar charging panel (8) provides continuous renewable energy to the internal battery module (7) ensuring uninterrupted 15 long-term operation.
