MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611109675 A) filed by G. L. Bajaj Institute Of Technology And Management on September 12, 2026, for Weather-Integrated Agricultural Decision-Support System For Crop-Yield Prediction And Farm Optimization.
Inventors include Pranjal Agarwal; Paras Seth; and Ms. Rachana Singh Sisodia.
The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.
Abstract: Disclosed is an agricultural decision-support system comprising an input interface receiving a crop type, soil properties, and a geographic location; a weather-data interface repeatedly receiving current weather information for the location; and a memory storing a pretrained agricultural machine-learning model trained using historical crop-yield records, soil parameters, crop information, and climatic data. A processor executes the model to combine the received farm-specific information with the current weather information and generate an expected crop-yield estimate. A recommendation engine applies optimization logic to the farm-specific information, current weather information, and expected crop-yield estimate to generate a farm-management recommendation. A digital output interface presents the expected crop-yield estimate and farm-management recommendation to a user. Dated September 7, 2026 / Kumar Tushar Srivastava IN/PA-3973 Agent for the Applicant
