MUMBAI, India, Nov. 2 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202617094965 A) filed by Virridy Digital LLC on August 05, 2026, for Wildfire Impact On Watershed Health Prediction And Identification Via Monitoring Reporting And Verification Sensor-Geospatial Fusion Networks.

Inventors include Thomas, Evan; Fankhauser, Katie; and Demaree, Kat.

The application for the patent was published on October 30, 2026, under issue no. 44/2026.

Abstract: Wildfire impact on watershed health prediction and identification via monitoring reporting and verification sensor-geospatial fusion networks may be provided by a system comprising a first sensor in a watershed, measuring an in-stream water quality metric, a remote sensing data source, a water treatment site extracting water from the watershed, and a machine learning model, in communication with the first sensor, the remote sensing data source, and the water treatment site, configured to generate a time series of estimates for water quality impaired by wildfire in the watershed based on a source data series from the first sensor and a remote data series from the remote data source, and further configured to modify a configuration of the water treatment site based on the time series of estimates for water quality.
