MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521110038 A) filed by Divyansh Tiwari; and Parth Deshmukh on November 12, 2025, for Wildlife–vehicle Collision Prevention System And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Divyansh Tiwari; and Parth Deshmukh.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a wildlife–vehicle collision prevention system (100) configured to detect animal presence near roadways and provide timely alerts to avoid accidents. The system (100) includes an ultrasonic sensor assembly (102) arranged in a vertical stack to differentiate animal movement from non-relevant disturbances and transmit distance data to a microcontroller (104). The microcontroller (104) processes the data using a filtering algorithm to verify animal presence and activates a patch-based visual alert mechanism (106) comprising high-intensity LED strips corresponding to the detected location. A night vision camera (108) captures and stores real-time visual data, while a communication module (114) transmits automated alerts to authorities. The components are enclosed in a weather-resistant modular housing (116), operable through grid or solar power for reliable deployment in diverse environments.
