Abstract: WIND LOAD MITIGATION ARRANGEMENT FOR GROUND-MOUNTED SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC INSTALLATION The present invention relates to a wind load mitigation arrangement (10) for a ground-mounted solar photovoltaic installation comprising one or more photovoltaic panel arrays (101). The arrangement (10) includes at least one wind-interacting barrier system comprising one or more barriers (100) associated with the one or more photovoltaic panel arrays (101), and at least one flow-modifying structure comprising one or more aerodynamic elements (103) associated with the one or more barriers (100). The one or more barriers (100) comprise porous configurations including mesh, perforated, or honeycomb structures configured to permit partial airflow therethrough. The one or more aerodynamic elements (103) are configured to redirect incoming wind flow. The wind load mitigation arrangement (10) modifies airflow characteristics including velocity distribution, pressure distribution, and flow direction, thereby altering aerodynamic loading acting on the one or more photovoltaic panel arrays (101).
