MUMBAI, India, July 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611072308 A) filed by Dr. Charanjeet Singh on June 10, 2026, for Wireless Environmental Monitoring System With Edge-Based Predictive Analytics.

Inventor includes Dr. Charanjeet Singh.

The application for the patent was published on July 24, 2026, under issue no. 30/2026.

Abstract: [055] The present invention discloses a wireless environmental monitoring system with edge-based predictive analytics. The system comprises a plurality of wireless sensor nodes configured to sense environmental parameters and transmit environmental data to an edge gateway. The edge gateway includes a data validation module, a predictive analytics engine, an adaptive sensing control module, a local storage unit, and an alert generation module. The data validation module verifies reliability of received sensor data, while the predictive analytics engine analyses current environmental data, historical environmental data, temporal variation, and parameter correlation to predict an environmental condition or risk state. The system adjusts sensing and communication frequency based on environmental stability, predicted risk, and available power. The edge gateway performs local analysis and alert generation during intermittent connectivity and synchronizes stored data with a remote server when connectivity is available. The invention enables real-time environmental monitoring, early risk prediction, reliable alert generation, and energy-efficient operation across distributed monitoring locations.
