Abstract: According to an example aspect of the present invention, there is provided there is provided an apparatus configured to process, in a location management function, a location service request which requests that a location of a user equipment is determined, wherein the location service request comprises or is provided with at least one of the following indications: whether the location service request is conditional, whether the location service request is provisional, a priority of the location service request, a user equipment class of the user equipment, a user equipment category of the user equipment, a mobility profile of the user equipment and information on previous location measurements of the user equipment, determine whether to initiate a positioning procedure concerning the user equipment based on the at least one indication, and transmit a response to the location service request based on the determining whether to initiate the positioning procedure.
