Abstract: The invention relates to a dental suction device (100) configured for simultaneous fluid evacuation and tongue retraction during dental procedures. The device (100) comprises a main suction tube (102) connectable to a vacuum source and bifurcating into a first suction arm (104) and a second suction arm (106), each having suction openings (108). A detachable tongue retractor (110) is releasably associated with the bifurcated suction head through a snap-fit attachment (112) and is configured to displace and stabilise the tongue while maintaining the suction openings (108) substantially unobstructed. A flexible metallic reinforcement (114) may extend through the main suction tube (102) and suction arms (104, 106) to permit bending and shape retention. The device (100) thereby facilitates operative visibility, multi- directional suction, patient comfort, and reduced dependence on separate tongue-retraction instruments. Figure 1 is the reference.
