Abstract: The present invention relates to the technical field of preparation of molecular sieves. Disclosed are a ZSM-23 molecular sieve, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The ratio of the 2,6-dimethylpyridine infrared total B acid amount to pyridine infrared total B acid amount of the ZSM-23 molecular sieve is 65-99:100. Moreover, in the 2,6-dimethylpyridine infrared B acid, the ratio of the B acid amount at a desorption temperature lower than 250°C to the 2,6-dimethylpyridine infrared total B acid amount is 64-95:100. The B acid sites of the ZSM-23 molecular sieve of the present invention are predominantly distributed at orifices and on the external surface, and with weak B acid being dominant, the molecular sieve has a high catalytic activity and excellent catalytic reaction performance mainly based on an orifice adsorption mechanism.
