The Ministry of Textiles convened the 27th meeting of the Hindi Salahkar Samiti of the Ministry of Textiles today, December 22, 2025, under the chairmanship of the Honorable Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh. It was attended by Secretary (Textiles), Smt. Neelam Shami Rao, eminent Hindi scholars, and representatives from the Ministry's subordinate offices.
The Honorable Chairman praised the importance of the Hindi language and the role of the Committee in its development. He said that Hindi is an important part of our culture and heritage, and we must make continuous efforts to promote it.
The magazine 'Sutradhar' was also released by the Honourable Minister in the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the progress of Hindi in the Ministry, government work being conducted in Hindi, and the Ministry's achievements. The Textiles Minister and the Textiles Secretary also spoke on the occasion.
