AMARAVATI, India, May 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 31:
1. The present contempt case is filed challenging the non-implementation of the interim order dated 26.11.2018 in W.P.No.35820 of 2018 under which the respondents are directed to implement the minimum time scale in favour of the petitioner.
2. Pending the contempt case, the Writ Petition itself is disposed of on 04.10.2018 by observing as under:
"On the other hand, the learned Government Pleader submits that if any such representation is pending consideration before the respondent-authorities, the same will be verified and appropriate orders will be passed, strictly in accordance with law.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directing the respondentauthorities to verify the representation dated 19.08.2018, said to have been submitted by the petitioner herein, and take appropriate action, or, pass appropriate orders on the said representation, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible."
3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the interim direction as directed by this Court dated 26.11.2018 is implemented in favour of the petitioner.
4. In view of the clear and categorical submission made by the learned counsel for the respondent that the order of this Court has been complied with, no further orders are necessary.
5. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.
Consequently, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in the contempt case shall stand closed.
