ANDHRA PRADESH HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON R.APPALA NAIDU V/S MR M V SATYANARAYANA

AMARAVATI, India, May 1 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on March 31:

1. This Contempt Case is filed complaining of violation of the Interim Order passed by this Court dated 23.05.2012 in W.P.M.P.No.19821 of 2012 in W.P.No.15386 of 2012.

2. It transpires from the record that during the pendency of the Contempt Case, the main Writ Petition No.15386 of 2012 itself has been dismissed for non-prosecution, vide Order dated 13.09.2023, which is on record. The Final Order passed by the erstwhile High Court dated 13.09.2023 is taken on record.

3. Having taken note of the same, this Court is of the view that this Contempt Case has become infructuous.

4. Accordingly, this Contempt Case is closed. No order as to costs.

5. Interlocutory Applications, if any, stand closed in terms of this order.
