AMARAVATI, India, May 21 -- Andhra Pradesh High Court issued the following order on April 20:
1. This Contempt Case is filed under Sections 10 to 12 of Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 against the respondents for willful disobedience of the order dated 14.11.2024 passed by this Court in Writ Petition No.11101 of 2022.
2. Heard Sri Narasimharao Gudiseva, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri J.Dileep Kumar, learned counsel for respondent No.1.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, in elaboration to what has been stated in the affidavit, contended that this Court, vide order dated 14.11.2024, disposed of Writ Petition No.11101 of 2022 with a direction to the respondent authorities to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2021 as well as the representation submitted by the petitioner's father by duly taking into consideration the G.O.Ms.No.743 dated 30.04.1963 as expeditiously as possible, not later than three months from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. He further submitted that after obtaining the copy of the said order on 24.12.2024, the petitioner made several representations, however, the authorities have neither considered the same nor furnished any reply till date, which shows the negligence and willful disobedience on the part of the respondents. Hence, they are liable to be punished under Sections 10 to 12 of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971.

In reply, learned counsel for respondent No.1, while reiterating the contents of the reply affidavit filed on behalf of respondent No.1, contended that the orders in Writ Petition No.11101/2022 have been duly complied with by passing proceedings dated 24.02.2025 by the Collector, Krishna. He further submitted that the said proceedings were also communicated to the petitioner, which clearly shows that the respondent authorities have implemented the orders of this Court dated 14.11.2024 in W.P.No.11101 of 2022. He further submitted that there are no bona fides on the part of the petitioner in filing the Contempt Case and that there is neither willful violation nor disobedience of the orders passed by this Court. Hence, prayed to close the Contempt Case.
5. Perused the material available on record and the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties.
6. This Court vide order dated 14.11.2024 disposed of the Writ Petition No.11101 of 2022. The operative portion of the said order is as follows:
"The respondent authorities concerned shall consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 29.11.2021 as well as the petitioner's father's representation dated Nil, in accordance with law, by duly taking into consideration G.O.Ms.No.743, dated 30.04.1963, as expeditiously as possible, not later than three (03) months from the receipt of copy of this order."
