The Minister of State for Tribal Affairs Shri. Durgadas Uikey informed in Lok Sabha on Wednesday that Hon'ble PM launched Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA) on 2nd October, 2024. The Abhiyan comprises of 25 interventions implemented by 17 line Ministries and aims to saturate infrastructural gaps in 63,843 villages, improve access to health, education, Anganwadi facilities and providing livelihood opportunities benefiting more than 5 crore tribals in 549 districts and 2,911 blocks in 30 States/UTs including Hassan District, Karnataka.
There are 6 villages from 4 blocks have been included under DAJGUA village list for socio-economic development. Details of those villages are as below:-
Under the scheme of Dharti Aaba Janjatiya Gram Utkarsh Abhiyan (DAJGUA), details of convergence scheme for development of education, healthcare, drinking water, housing, road connectivity, livelihood generation, skill development and digital infrastructure in 30 States including Hassan district, Karnataka is at Annexure 1.
As per information received from Line Ministries under DAJGUA, the details of welfare and development of Scheduled Tribe (ST) communities in Hassan district, Karnataka since inception of scheme is at Annexure 2.
Financial allocation under DAJGUA for various intervention during the FY 2024-25 to 2028-29 for implementation in 549 districts in 30 States/ UTs including Hassan district, Karnataka is at Annexure 3.
