GUWAHATI, India, Nov. 19 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Oct. 22:
Mr. M. H. Laskar, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the case of the petitioners is squarely covered by the Judgment and Order dated 17.03.2025 passed by Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in WP(C) No. 3597 of 2021 (Annexure- IV) and other connected matters.
Ms. N. Choudhury, learned counsel submits that the BTC has engaged Mr. A. K. Bhuyan as a new Standing Counsel and she therefore prays that some time to obtain instructions in the matter.
In view of above, list the matter again after two (2) weeks, on a date to be fixed by the Registry.
The learned Standing Counsel, BTC shall examine as to whether the case of the petitioner can be disposed of in terms of the Annexure - IV by the next Court date.
