GUWAHATI, India, Sept. 18 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on Aug. 19:
Case taken up before the Lawazima Court.
Learned counsel Ms. B. Talukdar appears on behalf of the petitioners. Heard.
Learned counsel Mr. R.C. Alom appears on behalf of Mr. P.J. Phukan, learned Standing Counsel, GU, representing respondent No. 3. Heard.
Perused the records.
Perusal of the instant case record reveals that the previous Lawazima Court's orders dated 23.07.2025 & 04.08.2025 had directed the petitioners to obtain instructions regarding the present address of respondent No. 6.
However, the learned counsel Ms. B. Talukdar appearing on behalf of the petitioners before the Lawazima Court today prays for some more time to obtain instructions regarding the address of the respondent mentioned above.
In view of the observations made above, the petitioners are further granted 7 (seven) days time as a last opportunity to take necessary steps for obtaining instructions regarding the present address of respondent No. 6.
Let the matter be listed again before the Lawazima Court on 01.09.2025.
