GUWAHATI, India, Aug. 21 -- Gauhati High Court issued the following order on July 21:
Heard Mr. DK Nath, learned counsel for the petitioners. Also heard Mr. SS Roy, learned CGC for the respondents.
Mr. SS Roy, learned CGC for the respondents, on instructions submits that the petitioners no.1, 2, 3, 8 & 9 verification process have been completed and their cases have been processed for issuance of the appointments orders. The matter is pending before the appropriate authority. In so far as the case of the petitioners no. 4, 5, 6 & 7 are concerned, their cases are processed for verification and their verification is not complete and it is pending before the competent authorities, who are suppose to undertake the verification process. In so far as the petitioner no.10 is concerned, she has already been appointed.
Learned counsel for the petitioners does not dispute the contention of the learned CGC that the petitioner no.10 has already been appointed.
In so far the cases of the petitioners no.1 to 9 are concerned, their appointment orders have not yet been issued as per instructions received.
Upon hearing the learned counsel for the parties and on a request made by the learned CGC, the matter stands deferred to be listed after 3 (three) weeks enabling the learned CGC to obtain instructions on the verification process undertaken and place it before the Court.
List the matter after 3 (three) weeks.
