The performance of the offices under the administrative control of the Department of Financial Services was commendable for their excellent implementation and innovative achievements in the field of official language during the year 2025-26 during the Hindi Diwas and 6th All India Official Language Conference being organized by the Department of Official Language , Ministry of Home Affairs under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Home and Cooperation Minister, Shri Amit Shah ji at CIDCO Exhibition Centre , Vashi , Navi Mumbai on 14-15 September 2026. Among the regulatory organizations , Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India was awarded the first prize for ' C ' region under ' Rajbhasha Kirti ' .
Similarly , among nationalized bank / financial institution headquarters with fewer than 800 employees , Indian Overseas Bank was awarded first prize , Indian Bank second , and National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development third . Furthermore , among nationalized bank headquarters with more than 800 employees , Central Bank of India was awarded first , Bank of Baroda second , and Bank of India third .
Apart from this , under the Rajbhasha Kirti Puraskar Yojana for in-house magazines for the year 2025-26 , Punjab National Bank 's magazine ' PNB Pratibha ' was awarded first prize under region ' A ' , Union Bank of India 's magazine ' Union Srijan ' was awarded first prize under region ' B ' and Canara Bank 's magazine ' Canara Jyoti ' was awarded second prize under region ' C ' .
Apart from this, the City Official Language Implementation Committees of Delhi , Hyderabad and Panaji run by banks have also been honoured with the Rajbhasha Kirti Award .
Top representatives of institutions / organisations under the administrative control of various ministries / departments working in the field of official language from across the country participated in this conference . This award given by the Department of Official Language was given for the innovative and creative efforts made in the field of Hindi magazines and for ensuring effective implementation of official language in nationalized banks / financial institutions / regulatory organisations in the year 2025-26 , encouraging greater use of Hindi and in official work .
