RANCHI, India, Oct. 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 8:
1. Nobody appears on behalf of the parties. 
2. This appeal has been filed against the judgment dated 22.05.2017 (decree signed on 05.06.2017) passed by the learned A.J.C. XIII, Ranchi reversing the judgment dated 23.12.2009 (decree signed on 08.01.2010) passed by the learned Sub-Ordinate Judge-I, Khunti in Title Suit No. 5 of 1996. 
3. The matter has remained pending before this Court since 2017 and the order-sheet of this case reveals that on 03.01.2023, prayer for adjournment was allowed by way of last chance. Thereafter, the matter was taken up on 01.03.2023 and again prayer for time was allowed subject to payment of cost of Rs. 1,000/-. Then the matter was again taken up on 10.07.2024 and prayer for time was allowed upon payment of cost of Rs. 2,000/-. Thereafter, again on 30.09.2024, the matter was adjourned upon payment of cost of Rs. 4,000/- and today, when the case is taken up, nobody is appearing on behalf of the appellants. 
4. Accordingly, this appeal is dismissed for non-prosecution. 
5. Pending I.A., if any, is closed. 6. Let a copy of this order be communicated to the concerned court through 'e-mail/FAX'.
