RANCHI, India, Oct. 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Sept. 8:
Heard Mr. Vikas Kumar, learned counsel for the appellant and Mrs. Nehala Sharmin, learned Spl. P.P.
This appeal is directed against the order dated 08.04.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sahibganj in B.P. No. 69/2025 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 100/2025 arising out of AHTU P.S. Case No. 01/2025, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected.
It has been alleged that the son of the informant as well as one Sanji Paharin were taken away by the appellant to Delhi where they were sold.
Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the victims have subsequently been recovered. It has been submitted that the appellant is in custody since 13.01.2025.
Learned Spl. P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.
Regard being had to the period of custody undergone by the appellant and the fact that the victims have been recovered, we, while setting aside the order dated 08.04.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sahibganj in B.P. No. 69/2025 corresponding to S.T. Case No. 100/2025 arising out of AHTU P.S. Case No. 01/2025, direct that the appellant be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Sahibganj in connection with AHTU P.S. Case No. 01/2025. 
This appeal is allowed.
