RANCHI, India, Nov. 4 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Oct. 6:
1. Heard the parties.
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Argora P.S. Case No. 164/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238, 324(2), 125 & 3(5) of the B.N.S. 2023, pending in the Court of Sri M. K. Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate-XIII, Ranchi.
3. On 10.08.2025 at about 4:00 P.M., the informant alongwith her family members had gone to Kav's Restaurant. At about 5:30 P.M., while they were returning from the restaurant, her granddaughter and two members were crushed by a Fortuner vehicle. The petitioner happens to be driver of the said vehicle. The occurrence had taken place due to the rash driving by the petitioner.
4. Mr. Indrajit Sinha, learned counsel on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that even assuming the occurrence to be true, case under Section 106 B.N.S. 2023 will be made out.
5. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri M. K. Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate-XIII, Ranchi or his successor in connection with Argora P.S. Case No. 164/2025.
