JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON BEAUTI KUMARI V/S STATE OF JHARKHAND AND ORS.

RANCHI, India, June 18 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on May 15:

1. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this writ application may be disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner approach the One-Man Fact Finding Committee which has been constituted pursuant to the order of this Court in W.P. (S) No. 582 of 2023 with analogous cases.

2. There is no objection from the respondents.

3. Accordingly, the instant writ application stands disposed of with the liberty to the petitioner to approach the One- Man Fact Finding Committee headed by Justice Gautam Kumar Choudhary within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
