RANCHI, India, May 1 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 30:

1. It is the grievance of the petitioner that the land was recorded in the name of the grandfather of the petitioner but now in the online records the same has been shown to be recorded in the name of one Bechu Mian, son of Fagu Mian which is an erroneous entry. It is the grievance of the petitioner that on the basis of aforesaid wrong recording those persons are selling the land of the petitioner. It is his contention that he has filed a representation before Circle Officer, Latehar but no action has yet been taken.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner approaches the Circle Officer, Latehar an appropriate order will be passed on his representation and if it is found that there was some erroneous entry in the online records the same will be corrected after hearing the parties.

3. Considering the aforesaid submission, the petitioner is directed to approach the Circle Officer within four weeks, the Circle Officer thereafter, will try to dispose of the matter after hearing all the parties concerned within a period of four months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

4. If it is ultimately found that the name of some other person has been wrongly entered in the online records, which needs to be corrected, appropriate action will be taken within two weeks thereafter.

5. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of.
