JHARKHAND HIGH COURT ISSUES ORDER ON BINOD KUMAR VERMA V/S THE STATE OF JHARKHAND

RANCHI, India, Sept. 28 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 28:

1. The matter relates to Sessions Trial No.06/2023, pending in the Court of the learned Additional Judicial Commissioner-XV-cum-FTC (CAW)-cumSpecial Court elected for MP/MLA-cum-Special Judge for Electricity Cases, Ranchi.

2. Mr. Ritesh Verma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner on instruction of Mr. Anurag Kashyap, who is Advocate-on-Record, seeks permission to withdraw this petition.

3. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned counsel for the State has got no objection.

4. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

5. Pending I.A., if any, is disposed of.
