RANCHI, India, May 7 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on April 6:

1.Heard, learned counsel for the parties.

2. The prayer of the petitioners, in this writ petition, is as follows:-

(i) For issuance of a direction upon the Respondent Concerned to update/ upload the land records of the petitioner on the concerned govt. website and issue rent receipts in his favour after receiving rent for his land vide (1a.) Khata no 26, 2, 13 & 73 Mauza- Bendi (Mahal Raja Ramgarhkhewat no. 2/3), Plot no.552, 546, 536 & 542/1083, Measuring 8 Acre & 10 Decimals. (b) Khata no. 73 & 85 Mauza- Bendi (Taoji no.28), Plot No.542/1083, 553, 634, 628, 632, 629, 565 & 566, Measuring 10 Acre. Total (1a+b) Measuring 18 Acre 10 decimals. (2) Khata no.73, 26 & 64 Mauza- Bendi (Taoji no.28), Plot no.61, 636, 928, 554, 555, 556, 557, 630, 631, 633 & 619, Measuring 8 Acre & 64 Decimals.

3. The grievance of the petitioners is that in the online records maintained by the respondents, the aforesaid land has not been reflected. It is the grievance of the petitioner that inspite of filing appropriate application, the Circle Officer is not taking appropriate application.

4. Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioners to file a fresh application before the Circle Officer, Katkamdag, who will consider the grievance of the petitioners and if it is found that the details of the land are not reflected in the online mode, he will take appropriate steps to ensure reflection of the data in relation to the land in the online records.

5. If the lands are recorded in the name of these petitioners and their ancestor, the respondents will accept rent and issue rent receipt.

6. With the aforesaid observation, the instant writ petition stands disposed of.
