RANCHI, India, March 10 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Feb. 9:
1. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.
2. Mr. Sanjoy Piprawall, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission assists the Court. He submits that the petitioner is seeking appointment in terms of the Advertisement No. 03 of 2020 which was published for appointing suitable eligible candidate to the post of Registrar in the Universities of the State. He submits that the petitioner is claiming appointment in Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherji University, Ranchi and Binod Bihari Mahato Koyalanchal University, Dhanbad as Registrar. He submits that the petitioner was not called for document verification as his rank was much lower than the candidates who were called for document verification. He submits that the JPSC has already made recommendation and it is not a case where the persons who are having lesser qualification or rank than the petitioner has been recommended.
3. Since the learned counsel for the JPSC submits that they have not recommended any person to fill up the said post whose rank is lower than the petitioner, I find that no relief can be granted to the petitioner, thus, this writ petition is dismissed.
