RANCHI, India, April 24 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on March 24:
1. Heard the learned counsel representing the petitioners and the learned counsel representing the respondents.
2. It is grievance of the petitioners that the petitioners are regularly paying the rent of the land in question and the land is also recorded in the name of these petitioners but in the online digital records the name of some other person has been recorded.
3. It is the grievance of the petitioners that the same is a clerical error for which the petitioners had already represented before the Circle Officer but the Circle Officer has not taken any step in it.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioners files fresh representation annexing the details of the khatian and other documents, the case of the petitioners will be considered and if it is found that there is clerical error the same will be corrected.
5. Considering the said submission, I direct the petitioners to file a fresh detailed representation within a period of four weeks before the respondent no. 4-the Circle Officer, Lohardaga along with a copy of this order. The Circle Officer will consider the case of the petitioners and if it is found that there is some clerical error, the same will be corrected within the period of six weeks.
6. If the claim of the petitioners is rejected for any reasons whatsoever the reasons should be communicated to the petitioners within the aforesaid period.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition is disposed of.
