RANCHI, India, Sept. 16 -- Jharkhand High Court issued the following order on Aug. 18:
1. Heard the parties.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that from 01.01.2018 onwards the increment of the salary has not been paid to the petitioner. The petitioner was a Compounder in the State Homeopathic Dispensary, Latehar. He superannuated from service in June, 2025.
3. It is his case that the increment from 2018 has not been paid to him though there was internal letter to consider the case of the petitioner after making proper entry in the service book.
4. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that if the petitioner files a detailed representation before the Director, Ayush, Department of Health Medical Education and Family Welfarerespondent no. 2, his case will be consider.
5. Considering the submission of the parties, I am of the opinion that the respondents should decide the claim of the petitioner. The petitioner should file a detailed representation before the respondent no.2-the Director, Ayush, Department of Health Medical Education and Family Welfare making all his claims along with necessary documents in support of the claim of the petitioner with copy of this order within four weeks.
6. The respondents should consider the case of the petitioner and pass a reasoned order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. If it is found that the petitioner is eligible for any amount the same should be disbursed to the petitioner within a period of four weeks thereafter. If the claim of the petitioner is rejected or a part of the claim is rejected, the reason for such rejection should be communicated to the petitioner within the aforesaid period.
7. With the aforesaid observation and direction, this writ petition stands disposed of.
